  We live about an hour from Ely and thought we'd get a room to be closer to the Wolftrack Dog Sled Race in the morning. Unfortunately, the race was canceled. However, it was a lovely get away! The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the service was awesome. My grandchildren swam, while my husband relaxed in the hot tub. The location is fabulous and we will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the lakes.

  We have visited the restaurant many times. This morning for breakfast, I ordered The Outfitters breakfast - 2 eggs, potatoes, meat, and toast. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and white toast. When Andrew brought it, I noticed it was sunny side up eggs and wheat toast. I was hungry and said nothing - eggs are eggs - I tend to order scrambled because I sport a goatee and have a small mouth ( dentist trips are interesting) + prevents yolk in the goatee and wheat toast is better for me. A bit later, Andrew stops by and apologies, he mixed my order with someone else's. I said, no problem, everything was great. Andrew has taken care of us impeccably in the past, so we will continue to visit.

  This Lodge was wonderful. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and very well decorated to reflect the area. Out breeding was very comfortable and the room hearing system was very quiet. GEL has a very good restaurant and lounge with excellent menu items at reasonable prices. Banquet facility was also well managed.
